Creating and using your personal account - When you create a personal account, you will be asked for certain personal data and we will assign a unique ID number to identify your account and associated information. We may use the name that you provide for your Profile across all of the services we offer that require an account.

Signing in - When you sign into your account, we create a record of your sign-in, which includes the date and time, information about the service you signed into, your sign-in name, the unique number assigned to your account, a unique identifier assigned to your device, your IP address, and your operating system and browser version.

Signing into your account - Signing into your account enables improved personalization, provides seamless and consistent experiences across products and devices. When you sign into your account, you will stay signed in until you sign out.

Your login details are the same for and If you sign up for the services on one site, it automatically gives you access to the services of the other site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and user name and are fully responsible for all activities occurring under your username or password.

When selecting your privacy settings please consider carefully the number of people who may be able to view the information you post and whether it is safe to disclose that type of information. We recommend that you do not disclose your home address, telephone number, date of birth or work, place of study or school location in a way that could be publicly accessed.

You can delete your account by going to the Account settings page. Deleting the account will remove your account profile data from our system. Any user content including apprenticeship vacancies or low carbon funding applications created with your account will not be deleted from the system on deletion of your account.


We may terminate this User Agreement at any time. You may not transfer any of your rights or delegate any of your obligations under this User Agreement without our prior written consent. If we fail to enforce any provision of this User Agreement, that failure will not preclude us from enforcing either that provision (or any similar provision) on a later occasion. Nothing in this User Agreement shall confer on any third party any benefit or the right to enforce any term of the User Agreement. This User Agreement is governed by Scottish law and any dispute connected with this agreement is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. Nothing in this User Agreement affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We reserve the right to amend or replace the Terms and Conditions at any time. If we make any substantial changes we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on The Site.
